Sponsorships play a key role at Visa and in LAC. They deliver great results for both Visa and our clients, and the Sponsorships Director role will drive deeper engagement and value of Global, Regional, and Local sponsorships across our diverse markets. Reporting to the Senior Director, Head of Sponsorship, this role will interact with all functions within the LAC business, primarily with local marketing teams and other marketing verticals in the hub. The Sponsorships Director will act as a subject matter expert on sponsorships and activation within Visa’s sponsorship verticals of Sports, Music, Culinary, and Entertainment. Additionally, the role will engage with global stakeholders, primarily within Sponsorship and Brand Marketing functions. The individual must have a strong understanding of sponsorship asset management, rights holders/governing bodies, negotiations, and marketing to guide internal stakeholders, manage agencies, and liaise with rights holders. The candidate will also represent the LAC region within the Global Taskforce structure for Global Properties.
