About The Position

Lozier Corporation is offering a Sponsorship for the Trades Program aimed at current high school seniors graduating in Spring 2026. This program allows participants to earn an associate degree from Metropolitan Community College’s (MCC) Industrial and Commercial Trades Program, specializing in CNC and Tool and Die Technology or Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technology. Participants will gain hands-on experience while taking classes that will help advance their careers. Upon graduation, participants will secure a full-time position at Lozier. The program includes a paid summer internship, paid tuition for the two-year program at MCC, and a paid apprenticeship or a $150 monthly stipend. Graduates will be positioned in either a Tool and Die Technician role or a Maintenance Technician role, depending on their area of assignment.

Requirements

• Must be a current high school senior graduating in Spring 2026.
• Interest in pursuing a career in Industrial and Commercial Trades.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience or coursework in mechanical or electrical fields.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Plan, layout and perform all bench and machine operation to service, repair and maintain tools, dies and machine equipment.
• Construct simple dies and fixtures as well as replacement parts.
• Perform general maintenance work on machines, including all types of building maintenance.
• Gain skills in welding and in the use of tools necessary for electrical, plumbing and heating work.
