We are seeking a Splunk Engineer/Architect to help design, enhance, and support a large‑scale enterprise Splunk environment. Requirements

  • Expert-level experience as a Splunk Engineer or Architect
  • Strong knowledge of Splunk clustering design and administration
  • Experience with Splunk forwarders, Splunk Collect, DB Connect, and timestamp alignment
  • Strong Linux/Windows administration and shell scripting skills
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or Windows scripting
  • Strong regex knowledge and advanced Splunk query language skills
  • Proven debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with automation/deployment tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, BladeLogic, AutoSys)
  • Background working in secure, multi‑data‑center environments
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Splunk Certified Administrator or Architect

Responsibilities

  • Architect, deploy, and maintain enterprise Splunk environments—including clustering, replication, and indexer optimization
  • Manage and optimize Splunk forwarders, DB Connect, metrics ingestion, and related components
  • Perform upgrades across Splunk Enterprise and Universal Forwarders
  • Build dashboards, visualizations, and UI components for system and application monitoring
  • Conduct root cause investigations and performance analysis using Splunk and Dynatrace
  • Integrate Splunk with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure tools such as Terraform, OpenShift, and Bitbucket
  • Automate operational tasks and performance monitoring
  • Ensure data integrity, access controls, and compliance across multi‑site deployments
  • Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for architecture, automation, and operational procedures
