About The Position

The Process Technician's responsibilities are to help set up injection molding machines and secondary manufacturing equipment. This position ensures the proper sequence of operation for a wide variety of molded parts. Your duties will include ensuring the interminable running of production, maintaining the level of efficiency and quality, and collaborating with co-workers to help your team achieve a high level of productivity.
You should be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards and be willing to learn and improve. We also expect you to be a good team player.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; additional technical degree will be a bonus.
• 2+ years of experience working in an injection molding position.
• Significant experience with mold setups, molding machines, molding inspection, molded parts, and secondary equipment
• Excellent understanding of production procedures and knowledge of basic measuring equipment and blueprint reading
• Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Physical stamina and strength

Responsibilities

• Set up basic types of molds and secondary operations using established run sheets and methods.
• Troubleshoot molding problems as necessary.
• Check safety devices on equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Perform other duties as directed by set‑up leader or supervisor.
