Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred; Equivalent work experience will also be considered
  • No previous work experience required for this position
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with NY Child Labor Laws
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work 6 PM to 12 AM for most scheduled shifts
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shift
  • Must possess some mechanical aptitude and ability to utilize a variety of hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, bend, or squat for long periods of time
  • Ability to remain on feet for majority of the workday
  • Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more
  • Ability to consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/tools
  • Ability to see differences between colors and brightness
  • Ability to see details of objects that are more than a few feet away
  • Frequent exposure to water and pool cleaning chemicals
  • Frequent exposure to variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain and other weather conditions
  • Subject to constant repetitive motion

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Power wash pathways, facilities, or other attractions on a routine basis
  • Assist with other cleaning efforts throughout all park facilities, as needed
  • Ensure that all power washing activities are conducted in accordance with all safety and company policies and procedures
  • Maintain the property and equipment in a clean, presentable, and safe manner
  • Assist the Maintenance and Grounds team with other projects, as needed
  • Utilize the proper PPE, depending on the nature of the job
  • All other duties assigned by leadership
