SUMMARY Direct Line ("DL") is a high growth global technology services company with primary focus in providing design, integration, installation, maintenance and managed services to well-known data centers and technology companies. Direct Line is backed by private equity firm and headquartered in Fremont, California with additional locations in US, Asia-Pacific and Europe. We are looking for a highly energetic, result oriented, passionate, and hands-on Technical Trainer with a desire to join a growing team. The person should be self-starter, adaptable with attentive to detail and able to work with minimal supervision. The incumbent works within a training organization and is responsible for evaluating our needs and current practices and creating and delivering a training development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides. The ideal candidate will be confident public speaker and a devoted educator who is up to date on the latest tools and resources needed to improve employee training and performance. The trainer will also be responsible for researching and selecting the best platform to deliver and utilize training materials and other task as directed.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop schedule to assess training needs
  • Conduct employee surveys and interviews
  • Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership
  • Track and compile collected data
  • Conceptualize training materials based on data and research
  • Communicate training needs and online resources as appropriate
  • Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials
  • Contact and utilize outside vendors and resources for instructional technology
  • Test and review created materials
  • Maintain database of all training materials
  • Instruct employee training and onboarding
  • Conduct training through pertinent materials
  • Review employee performance and learning
  • Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipment
  • Coordinate participants breaks, lunches, and needs
  • Conduct training session in remote areas
