Requirements

• Master’s degree in relevant field (Divinity, Spiritual or Pastoral Counseling, Spiritual Formation, etc.). (Or, any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.)
• Any certifications/licenses in relevant fields, though equivalent training will be considered.
• 10 years' experience in spiritual counseling, experiential journey work and/or related models of healing
• 10 years' public speaking experience and/or teaching experience.
• History of personal growth work and personal study
• Extensive experience in the practice of spiritual tradition/s
• Extensive group facilitation experience

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Canyon Ranch guests and staff in the areas of spirituality and related activities.
• Perform individual guest consultations, and provide guest follow-up when appropriate.
• Facilitate group workshop sessions, and educational and engaging guest lectures.
• Create spiritual wellness related materials for guests (e.g., lectures, handouts, etc.)
• Assist in the development of departmental materials (e.g., SOPs).
