The Spiritual Counselor will spiritually counsel individuals with various disaffiliations including but not limited to addictions, including alcohol, drugs, gambling, chronic homelessness, etc. They complete counseling and spiritual interviews with beneficiaries, conduct counseling sessions, teach program related classes, develop, and track the progress of rehabilitation plans and stay current on the work therapy component. Maintaining relevant and real time case notes in the Service Point database is required, as well as adding all completed services that include but are not limited to spiritual counseling. The typical shift for this position will be 2nd shift (inclusive of evening hours). Some weekends and holidays will be required. All counseling sessions completed in the ARC Programs are classified as spiritual counseling.
