The Dalton, Ga plant has an opening for a Spiral Technician. While reporting to the shift supervisor you will work in production for our tube and core division and be responsible for working in a quick and safe manner. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot defects in the packing line. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail. What you’ll be doing: This team member will be responsible for assisting and supporting the carpet yarn line operator and other members of the carpet yarn line crew. This position will be required to learn and perform all required machine and support equipment set ups. Mechanical skills to operate, set up, and trouble shoot equipment as required will also be needed. Ability to operate cutter for carpet yarn tubes. This team member will also be required to perform machine preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment related to the carpet yarn line. The CYL assistant operator position will require proficiency level to operate machine on a substitute basis .

• Reporting of quality measurements and metrics

• Understanding of buildups and tube constructions

Responsibilities
