About The Position

The new spine surgeon will see patients in an established office and surgery center. Duties of the role include, but are not limited to: - consult with patients to determine appropriate courses of treatment - perform necessary surgical procedures in the treatment of injuries or symptoms - examine patients while ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests - obtain information on medical conditions to determine diagnosis - provide consultation and comprehensive management of patients - monitor patients’ conditions and progress - evaluate patients’ conditions and progress as necessary The full details of the position are negotiable and will be collaboratively decided between the practice and the physician. Please note that this practice also has an office in East Bay and the physician will be asked to work occasional shifts in that location. The details of this are negotiable and it is not a significant commitment. If desired, additional shifts for additional compensation (with travel expenses covered) can be provided in South Bay.

Requirements

• California medical license
• DEA
• Board Certified or Eligible, Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship, Spine Surgery

Nice To Haves

• ability to do orthopedic and/or interventional pain surgeries a plus
