Requirements
- Must have completed an SPI training course and assessment from AMGA
- Previous experience as a mountaineering guide or as an adventure sports coach
- Expert rope handling skills are required and a minimum of 5 years mountaineering experience
- Must be able to identify object dangers associated in mountaineering
- Must have self-rescue knowledge
- Must have experience in rope anchoring and haul systems
- Accomplished and experienced in Trad, Ice, Alpine climbing
- Must have the ability to work with diverse groups of people and confidence in ability to instruct groups and enforce procedures
- Experience leading children/adults and a passion for working with kids
- Good communication and customer service skills
- CPR and/or First Aid Training a plus
- Able to lift 50+ lbs.
