Raye IT brings over 20 years experience in delivering mission-critical programs and support for the Federal Government and large agencies. We specialize in program and project management, capital planning and IT investment portfolio management, infrastructure support and application development deployment to include IT operations and maintenance. We deliver value through technical and managerial expertise – innovation, efficient processes, executable strategies, and methodologies that generate tangible and measurable results to our clients across the Federal, Civilian and DoD sectors. Raye IT is seeking a seasoned Speechwriter to craft compelling, accessible, science‑focused communications for agency's leadership, including speeches, testimony, talking points, and high‑visibility messaging.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of speechwriting experience, with 3 years in science focused organizations.
Degree in related field of study
Ability to research technical topics and interview SMEs effectively.
Strong ability to distill complex concepts into engaging messages.
Must submit two speechwriting samples.
Security Clearance Requirements: Public Trust

Responsibilities

Draft speeches, remarks, talking points, and congressional testimony for agency leadership.
Translate complex scientific and policy information into clear, audience appropriate narratives.
Develop communication strategies and messaging that support agency’s mission.
Conduct research and interviews with subject matter experts.
Edit materials to reflect leadership tone, style, and accuracy.
