Position Overview: As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Working closely with our healthcare team, you will develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing support to help patients achieve their speech and communication goals. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Two years of experience in speech therapy, with experience across the life span. New graduates welcome.
  • Strong knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • BLS certification
  • Solid understanding of Speech Therapy principles and techniques relevant to outpatient care.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to foster trust and cooperation.
  • Sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information and situations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a busy clinical setting.
  • Dedication to compassionate, safe, and professional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for patients of all ages.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
  • Provide speech therapy interventions, including exercises to improve speech, language, and swallowing function.
  • Work with patients to improve communication skills, social interaction, and cognitive-communication abilities.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment goals and strategies for continued progress.
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Stay current with speech therapy practices, techniques, and certifications to provide the best care possible.
