As a Speech Therapist at MercyOne, you will: Plan, administer, implement, and evaluate speech therapy for all appropriate programs and services within the PM & R Department, for all patient age groups Possess the skills necessary to provide direct patient care specific to each age group in accordance with department protocol Schedule: Per Diem Varied schedule

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from accredited program.
• Certification by American Speech and Hearing Association or be eligible to be certified.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency once fully licensed
• Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) by the State of Iowa to practice as a Speech Therapist.
• Employee may be within their Clinical Fellowship year if able to meet ASHA requirements for completion.

Responsibilities

• Plan, administer, implement, and evaluate speech therapy for all appropriate programs and services within the PM & R Department, for all patient age groups
• Possess the skills necessary to provide direct patient care specific to each age group in accordance with department protocol
