About The Position

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Trinity Health PACE, your primary responsibility is to evaluate and treat participants who present with speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, Speech and Hearing Sciences, or Communication Disorders.
  • Current, unencumbered, active license in the state of the PACE Organization (or proof of registration for Clinical Fellowship year).
  • ASHA certification and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat participants under the approval of the Interdisciplinary Team, focusing on speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop tailored programs to support participants in achieving their maximum functional potential within the PACE Organization.
  • Recommend safe swallowing precautions and dietary adjustments based on participant needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in TruChart and other designated forms as directed by the Center Manager/Director.
  • Adhere to infection control policies, Participant Rights Guidelines, and all relevant PACE Organization protocols.
