About The Position
Responsibilities Evaluate & Treat: Conduct initial and periodic assessments for speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Goal Setting: Develop and adjust measurable treatment plans based on individual patient needs and physician orders. Collaborate: Partner with the Rehabilitation Therapist and nursing staff on care transitions and discharge planning. Mentor: Provide clinical guidance to new staff, students, and volunteers.
Requirements
- Current New York State SLP License and registration NYS Office of the Professions.
- Minimum 1 year in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
