Arbor Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) to join our supportive and collaborative interdisciplinary team. Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current California SLP license in good standing
  • Strong communication, clinical, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred
  • Familiarity with EMR systems such as Casamba or PointClickCare a plus

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in accordance with physician orders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust based on patient progress
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, rehab team members, patients, and families
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state and payer requirements
  • Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary meetings as needed
  • Provide education and training to staff, caregivers, and families to support continuity of care
  • Supervise and mentor SLP Assistants, Clinical Fellows, or students when applicable
