About The Position
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating patients within 24 hours of physician referral, developing treatment plans, and supervising assistants in patient care. The role involves communication with healthcare team members, participation in care conferences, and compliance with state practice acts. The SLP also instructs families and nursing staff, participates in discharge planning, and acts as a clinical preceptor for students and fellows.
