Requirements

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, preferably with older adults
  • Multi-state licensure
  • Strong experience with adult and geriatric diagnoses (e.g., stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, mild cognitive impairment)
  • Comfort with digital platforms and enthusiasm for technology-enabled care delivery
  • Ability to manage a higher-volume remote caseload with strong clinical judgment and organization
  • Private home office with reliable internet

Nice To Haves

  • Prior telehealth experience with older adults
  • Background in neurorehabilitation or cognitive-communication therapy
  • Experience using outcome measures or analytics to guide treatment decisions

Responsibilities

  • Perform virtual evaluations to determine older adults’ appropriateness for at-home VR-based speech therapy
  • Develop individualized plans of care targeting cognition, language, speech, voice, and functional communication
  • Provide ongoing clinical oversight, progress monitoring, and plan-of-care modifications using outcome data
  • Conduct follow-ups, re-evaluations, and discharges with functional, quality-of-life–driven goals
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with medical and facility standards
  • Coordinate care with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care
