About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an acute care team. The therapist will evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders across various hospital units, including ICU and neurological care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Active Georgia SLP License
- CCC-SLP certification
- AHA BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in acute care settings
- Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) and/or Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Provide therapy for patients with conditions such as stroke, neurological disorders, dysphagia, and respiratory compromise
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform bedside swallow evaluations and therapeutic interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
