About The Position

Carolina Therapy Services is headquartered in Dunn, North Carolina, and is a therapist-owned and managed rehabilitation company. Through our network, clinicians, and locations, we offer personalized rehabilitation services across North Carolina to pediatric and adult patients in a variety of settings. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in those we serve through a caring, compassionate approach to rehabilitation programs. We provide the highest level of therapeutic intervention for our patients, delivered with the personalized service that has been the hallmark of our company. Provide evidenced based therapeutic assessments and interventions in a Skilled Nursing Setting to both post-acute, and long-term care patients. PRN applicants. Schedule is flexible; department is open from 6am-8pm, 7 days/week. Collaborate and work in a team setting with other excellent clinicians and restorative nursing staff. The Speech-Language Pathologist plans, conducts and evaluates the treatment program for individuals with disorders in the comprehension and production of speech and language, as set forth by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Under the direction of the attending physician, the Speech-Language Pathologist provides assessment and treatment of cognitive and swallowing disorders.

Requirements

  • Licensed, registered or certified by the state in which the Speech-Language Pathologist resides or practices speech pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidenced based therapeutic assessments and interventions in a Skilled Nursing Setting to both post-acute, and long-term care patients.
