The Pediatric Speech Therapist assumes primary responsibility for assessment, diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in the pediatric population, birth to age 21. The therapist collaborates with other professionals on the patient’s medical team, maintains adequate records, and documents the appropriate progress reports and patient education. The therapist supervises support staff and students as assigned.
