Note: Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status Job Summary Under the supervision of a speech/language pathologist and/or audiologist (as appropriate) who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), performs the following: Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)-Speech/Language Pathology: Diagnoses disorders and provides therapy for patients who demonstrate communication impairments. Clinical Fellow-Audiology: Identifies hearing impaired patients; counsels patient/family; assists in educational management; makes referrals; selects hearing aids and ensures their proper use.

Requirements

  • CFY Speech/Language Pathology: Masters degree, or equivalent, in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Clinical Fellow Audiology: Masters degree, or equivalent (including coursework completion for the AUD), in Audiology.
