The Speech-Language Pathologist II (SLP) is responsible for identifying, assessing, and treating patients with cognitive communication and/or swallowing disorders. The SLP also provides counseling/education to patients, caregivers, and staff regarding cognitive communication and/or swallowing disorders.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Kentucky License
  • BLS certification
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • Maintain Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
