About The Position

Carolina Therapy Services is a therapist-owned and managed rehabilitation company dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of those we serve through a caring, compassionate approach to rehabilitation programs. We provide the highest level of therapeutic intervention for every client we serve. This skilled nursing facility is located within an hour and a half of the beautiful beaches of Manteo and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We offer flexible scheduling and excellent benefits! The Speech-Language Pathologist plans, conducts and evaluates the treatment program for individuals with disorders in the comprehension and production of speech and language, as set forth by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Under the direction of the attending physician, the Speech-Language Pathologist provides assessment and treatment of cognitive and swallowing disorders.

Requirements

• Licensed, registered or certified by the state in which the Speech-Language Pathologist resides or practices speech pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and evaluate treatment programs for individuals with speech and language disorders.
• Provide assessment and treatment of cognitive and swallowing disorders under the direction of the attending physician.
