About The Position

Expected pay for this position is $39.13 - $46.03/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position. Multiple Sign On Bonus Options! $4,000 -1 year work commitment $8,000 - 2 year work commitment $16,000 - 3 year work commitment (Internal Mission Partners not eligible) Multi-disciplinary clinic offering outpatient and inpatient PT, OT, and Speech services to treat adult and pediatric orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and pelvic floor diagnoses. OSF Rehabilitation offers an environment for clinicians that is supportive in professional development and offers paid continuing education units, tuition reimbursement for further education, and 401k with $1 per $1 match on first 5% of salary! In addition, OSF Healthcare qualifies for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness program. OSF will invest in you on day 1! Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1. Requirements

  • Master's degree
  • Respective state temporary license with the supervision of a Licensed Speech Pathologist for 18 months
  • Respective state temporary license while completing Clinical Fellowship Year or respective state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as Speech Pathologist
  • Valid state driver's license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor vehicles driving record abstract.
  • Analytical ability to administer and evaluate standardized speech/language tests, conduct swallowing evaluations, evaluate patients' capabilities, develop treatment plans and monitor patients' progress.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients in the restoration or development of swallowing, speech and communication functions through evaluation and treatment.
