Speech-Language Pathologist - School setting- Summers off !!! Location: Washington Court House, OH Job Type: 100% Full time, Day shift Position Summary We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The Speech and Language Pathologist will primarily be responsible for diagnosis, treatment, counseling and follow-up services for speech, language, cognitive and behavioral disorders. Students will be served in Washington City Schools, Miami Trace, Head Start, Starting Gate and in home as needed. What You'll Do Evaluating, treating, and preventing speech, language and swallowing disorders. Creates treatment plans as part of an IEP to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of students. Performs screenings to detect language or speech disorders. Educates students, teacher, aides, and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events. Keep detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress. Reports progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
