As an SLP at NARMC, you’ll assess and treat speech, language, cognition, voice, fluency, and swallowing, while coaching families and tracking real-world progress. Job Summary Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders; complete timely documentation; educate patients/families; and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Arkansas SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • BLS
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Experience with adult neuro, pediatrics, or acute care
  • comfort with EHR/EMR

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia.
  • Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow studies; plan therapy based on results.
  • Educate patients/families; provide staff in-services on communication/swallow issues; track outcomes/quality data.
  • Document charges and clinical progress accurately; participate in performance improvement.
