About The Position
Evaluates, plans, directs and administers individualized therapeutic treatment programs aimed at the restoration or improvement of function, or the prevention of disability. Writes evaluations, progress notes/reports, discharge summaries and maintains patient files. Counsels patients and/or family members regarding Rehabilitation diagnosis, plan of care and prognosis. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory/legislative policies as they apply to the profession of Speech Pathology and adheres to same.
Requirements
- Graduate of Accredited Speech Pathology Program
- NJ State License in Speech Pathology
- CPR certification within first 3 months of hire
- Specialty certification in ASHA approved area of practice or as deemed appropriate by the leadership staff (ie: BCSS - Board Certified Specialist Swallowing, BCS-CL - Board Certified Specialist Child Language, Cochlear Implant Training, etc.)
