Description Evaluates, plans, directs and administers individualized therapeutic treatment programs aimed at the restoration or improvement of function, or the prevention of disability. Writes evaluations, progress notes/reports, discharge summaries and maintains patient files. Counsels patients and/or family members regarding Rehabilitation diagnosis, plan of care and prognosis. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory/legislative policies as they apply to the profession of Speech Pathology and adheres to same. Qualifications Graduate of Accredited Speech Pathology Program, NJ State License in Speech Pathology. CPR certification within first 3 months of hire. Specialty certification in ASHA approved area of practice or as deemed appropriate by the leadership staff (ie: BCSS – Board Certified Specialist Swallowing, BCS-CL – Board Certified Specialist Child Language, Cochlear Implant Training, etc.).
