Responsibilities: RESPONSIBLE FOR: Coordinating, consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia; and interpreting assessment data; planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment intervention programs when appropriate that restore function, prevent disability and help patients reach maximum potential. Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology.
  • BLS certification through AHA.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating, consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia
  • Interpreting assessment data
  • Planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment intervention programs when appropriate that restore function, prevent disability and help patients reach maximum potential.
