The Speech and Language Pathology Department is recognized for its programs dealing with adult communication disorders resulting from brain injury, voice problems, swallowing disorders, or oral motor dysfunction, and also offers lymphedema services. The Speech-Language Pathologist is an independent health care professional who provides individualized patient care, assessing and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in children and adults per physician referral.
