Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication preferred.
- One to three years in a hospital setting.
- Current BLS certification required within three (3) months of hire.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for the clinical fellowship year.
- Ability to work weekends (at least 2 Sundays per month).
Responsibilities
- The Speech Language Pathologist must be a specialist in human communications, including normal development and deficits in communication.
- Work responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of physician referrals for patients with disorders of speech, language, cognition, or swallowing.
- The Speech Language Pathologist must work as a member of an interdisciplinary team with other professionals to provide optimal patient care.
