About The Position

Adventist Health is seeking a motivated speech language pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Tulare, CA This position will evaluate and treat patients mainly at our Tulare hospital and will also provide intermittent coverage at our Tulare, Selma, and Reedley hospitals. Requirements

  • Master's Degree: Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
  • Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competency: Required

Responsibilities

  • Patient caseload of 8 patients/day.
  • Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment.
  • Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Assists in data collection of patient outcomes.
  • Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts.
  • Supervises assistants and support staff.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
