Department Overview The Speech-Language Pathology department specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children with a range of diagnoses from cleft palate to voice disorders. In addition they also evaluate and treat children who may have difficulties with speech, cognitive-linguistic skills, feeding and swallowing, and language. Care is provided at the following facilities\: Minneapolis, St. Paul, Woodbury, Roseville, and Eden Prairie. Position Summary Responsible for the evaluation and provision of speech therapy services to children; the accompanying written documentation and verbal communication needed to administer care including provider orders; provides patient/family/caregivers, staff, and student training; provides a safe, clean environment; provides proper care for departmental equipment; manages time effectively and promotes patient/family, provider, and intradepartmental satisfaction. All of the positions' duties are performed within Children's MN Standards of Behavior.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree from an accredited speech language pathology program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence or in Clinical Fellowship Year.
• Minnesota Department of Health license.
• BLS Certification.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience preferred.
