1. Must be courteous to patients, visitors and employees. 2. Administers diagnostic testing procedures to determine the extent of patient's impairment and the prognosis for improvement. Identifies pertinent patient problems. (20%)E 3. Sets objective, measurable treatment goals incorporating patient's goal for functional outcome. Establishes a treatment plan based on patient needs and patient family input. (20%)E 4. Performs treatment procedures and adapts techniques to meet the needs of patients. Reevaluates patients, modifies treatment plan and procedures based on patient progress.(20%)E 5. Provides objective, analytic documentation of patient care, patient/family education and information regarding units of service. Communicates effectively with medical/allied health personnel regarding patient progress, needs, and discharge planning. (15%)E 6. Participates in quality improvement, program evaluation, environmental and infection control programs. (5%)E 7. Trains new personnel as required, assists the Manager with on the job training. 8. Provides guidance and direction to PTAs aides and affiliating students. 9. Enhances professional growth and development through approved participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops. Participates in appropriate in-service educational programs. 10. Attends meetings as required. (5%) 11. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
