About The Position

You’ll make an impact by evaluating and treating patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Requirements

Applicants should have a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Licensed Speech Therapist; Current licensure with PA Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
Plans and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services.
Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.
