ChristianaCare is recruiting for a per diem Speech Language Pathologist to work a minimum of two weekend days per month and one holiday per year. May pick up additional weekday or weekend shifts as available. In this position, you will assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders primarily in acute care, with occasional support on the inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. With an emphasis on patient-family centered care, we specialize in a variety of services with a dynamic interdisciplinary/trans-disciplinary team approach. This is a flat rate position. Any individual hired into this position will be paid $59.00/hour plus any applicable differentials. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CF Certification
  • CPR Certification
  • Acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames
  • Provide patient and family education and training
