About The Position

Amedisys is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for home healthcare services. This position is available on a PRN or part-time basis during the day, with a flexible schedule in the Southeast Valley Territory. Requirements

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the state of assignment.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum at an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
