Pediatric Outpatient Experience Required Spanish Speaking Experience A Speech-Language Pathologist consists of ongoing mentorship focusing on requirements, as outlined by ASHA (American Speech and Hearing Association). The candidate will be responsible for the assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, re-assessments, and discharge planning of patients referred for Speech-Language Therapy as well as Swallow Evaluation and treatment. The Speech-Language Pathologist will also participate in program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity improvement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion. This position is responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients who persistently demonstrate communicative deficits in any modality: speaking, listening, reading, and/or writing. This position is also responsible for any patient who has difficulty managing his/her secretions or in swallowing. This may include a variety of diagnoses. #STC
