The Department of Communication in the College of Arts and Letters at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instruction in speech, including courses in Oral Communication and Speech for Business and the Professions. These courses emphasize foundational public speaking skills, professional presentation strategies, and audience analysis. Instructors may also guide students in developing professional communication competencies such as team communication, persuasive speaking, and interviewing. Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis which may include fall, spring and summer.
