About The Position

The Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Therapy Assistant (SLPA) to support the delivery of speech and language services to students across grade levels under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The SLPA will assist in implementing therapy plans, collecting data, and supporting students in developing communication, language, and social skills within the educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group speech and language therapy sessions under the supervision and direction of a licensed SLP.
• Implement treatment plans and therapy activities designed by the supervising SLP.
• Collect and maintain accurate data on student performance and progress.
• Prepare materials and organize instructional spaces for therapy sessions.
• Support communication goals across the school environment through collaboration with teachers and support staff.
• Document services and maintain confidentiality in compliance with district and DESE regulations.
• Participate in supervision, consultation, and team meetings as required.
