About The Position

The Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow position is a full-time role focused on providing clinical and academic support within the Adult Speech, Language, and Swallow - Acute specialty. The fellow will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and experienced speech-language pathologists, in a dynamic clinical environment across multiple locations. This role includes diagnostics, assessments, and treatment for patients, along with opportunities for mentorship and involvement in clinical research and continuing education.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
• In the process of obtaining a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Wisconsin state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow.
• Certification in Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automatic External Defibrillator.

Nice To Haves

• Practicum (student) experience in a medical setting.
• Research experience during graduate school.

Responsibilities

• Work clinically and academically with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and speech language pathologists.
• Provide diagnostics, instrumental and non-instrumental assessment, and treatment for Speech-Language Pathology patients.
• Receive ongoing mentorship from experienced Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Be involved with clinical research and continuing education.
