About The Position

Cross Country Education is looking for a vibrant Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our collaborative team for the '25–'26 school year. Position Overview: Provide direct speech-language services to PreK-5 students in individual and small-group settings while efficiently managing a split schedule and travel between two elementary locations. Implement treatment/therapy plans designed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Collect and report data on student performance during therapy sessions, reporting progress and observations to the supervising SLP to inform ongoing treatment decisions. Participate in the Extended School Year (ESY) program during July to help eligible students maintain critical communication skills and prevent skill regression over the summer break.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with elementary-aged children (PreK-5) with various communication disorders (Preferred)
