About The Position

Let’s be real for a second. You didn’t become an SLPA to drown in productivity quotas, copy-paste treatment plans, broken office equipment, and meetings that could’ve been emails. At Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS), we’re clinician-owned (actual clinicians, not corporate mascots). We know the difference between being busy and doing work that actually matters. We’re hiring a Per Diem SLPA in the Brockton residential area of Massachusetts who wants meaningful field work, real support, and a schedule that doesn’t require superpowers.

Requirements

Are licensed as an SLPA in Massachusetts
Have at least 1 year of experience (or the confidence of someone who learns fast)
Work well independently but never want to feel like you’re on an island
Can handle an EMR without emotional damage
Have reliable transportation and a road-trip-worthy playlist

Responsibilities

Supporting patients with communication, cognition, and daily function under the guidance of an SLP.
Providing in-home care that’s personalized — not pulled from a dusty template.
Keeping documentation efficient and sane in our user-friendly EMR.
Communicating with patients, families, and your clinical team to keep care smooth and effective.
Problem-solving in the field (possibly while being judged by a very small dog).
