The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) supports licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) in the delivery of speech and language services to students. Under the supervision of an SLP, the SLPA assists with implementing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, documenting student progress, and supporting communication goals as outlined in each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
