We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, the SLPA will support the delivery of speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools. This role is essential in helping students build effective communication skills and achieve their speech and language goals in an engaging, supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
  • Active SLPA license or certification in California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Comfortable using technology for virtual therapy and documentation

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by a supervising SLP
  • Target areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills
  • Support implementation of individualized therapy plans and monitor progress
  • Assist with documentation, data collection, and preparation of therapy materials
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and school procedures
  • Participate in supervision and training as required
  • Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner
