About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and people-oriented Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our multidisciplinary clinic that provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech Therapy (ST) to children and adults. Currently, due to COVID-19, treatment is being offered via telehealth for the ST and OT departments, while in-home ABA therapy is conducted with safety provisions in place. The patient caseload primarily consists of children aged 2-8 with language impairments, articulation disorders, and Autism of varying degrees. Therapists will work collaboratively with a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and will provide co-treatment sessions alongside ABA and OT to ensure the most effective treatment outcomes. Parent training is a crucial component of the role to support carry-over and generalization of skills in home and community environments.

Requirements

• Must possess valid SLPA licensure within the State of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric speech therapy experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is desired but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children with behavioral challenges.
• Familiarity with telehealth service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervising SLP to provide effective treatment for patients.
