The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant is accountable for providing support to students ages 3 to 22 with a variety of communication disorders under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. A supervising Speech-Language Pathologist is defined as a Speech-Language Pathologist licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Division of Professional Licensure, Board of Registration in Speech-Language Pathology, in good standing, who has been practicing for at least two years following licensure.
