We’re seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist who shares our goal: to get all our scholars to and through college. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a related area (e.g., Speech Pathology) from an accredited college/university
  • Valid NYS Speech-Language Pathology license (must hold CCC-SLP and either TSSLD or TSHH certification)
  • Minimum of two years of professional SLP experience working with children

Responsibilities

  • Speech Screenings
  • Conduct observations and screenings for students with potential speech concerns.
  • IEP Meetings & Documentation
  • Assess IEP goals monthly and submit progress reports.
  • Submit teacher reports highlighting student strengths and needs.
  • Complete the Related Services section and goals in SESIS prior to IEP meetings.
  • Communication & Collaboration
  • Maintain open communication with families and address questions as they arise.
  • Collaborate with teammates – sharing insights and providing support.
  • Share screening results and next steps with families in a supportive manner.
  • Celebrate student growth and progress consistently.
  • Instructional Excellence
  • Submit weekly, data-driven lesson plans to the School Psychologist.
  • Upload student work weekly and track service attendance.
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated sessions tailored to student needs.
  • Use data to inform instruction and guide students’ progress.
